Rob Reis

Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2006, Mr. Reis has held the position of Senior Vice President Investments and Director in the Senior Housing Division. At Marcus & Millichap, the Senior Housing Division is composed of seasoned advisors and underwriters specializing in the unique and operationally intensive senior housing property category. In his role, Mr. Reis oversees the sale, leasing, and financing of senior housing properties, serving as a trusted advisor to a diverse clientele of senior housing and healthcare real estate investors across the United States. Renowned for his deal-making prowess, Rob is dedicated to leaving no stone unturned in identifying the right tenant, buyer, equity partner, or debt provider. His client portfolio includes local owner/operators, family offices, private equity funds, REITs, Life Cos., and regional and national operators. Throughout his career, Rob has successfully closed nearly $1 billion in transaction volume. Some notable transactions led by Mr. Reis include the $13.5 million sale of a California retirement community for an owner exiting the business, the $9 million sale of a California skilled nursing facility, listed on the special focus facility list and one survey away from closure, the $42 million sale of a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities in the upper Midwest amidst tenant bankruptcy threats, and the $90 million sale of a portfolio of seniors housing properties in Washington and California for a regional operator seeking capital redeployment. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds joy in various outdoor activities, including off-road motorcycle riding, trail running, open water swimming, and golf.
