
Ricky Anderson, a Virginia Beach native and Virginia Tech graduate, started his career in commercial real estate in May of 2007. After learning the ropes in property management, he transitioned to brokerage and in a short time he became an integral part of a dynamic brokerage team representing owners and occupiers of both office and industrial properties. Over the course of his 18-year career, Ricky has completed over 1,400 transactions. Clients have included REITS, regional and local ownership groups, national corporations, defense contractors, medical practices, and local businesses. In the last three years, Ricky was involved in 553 lease transactions for a total of 3.5 million square feet and $277 million lease value. While his primary focus is as a strategic advisor to both landlords and tenants, he has developed a strong sales pipeline of both investment and owner occupant sales in recent years. Since 2022, Ricky has also closed 64 sales totaling $182 million in sales volume. Ricky has been the #1 Top Producer for Colliers | Virginia for 2022, 2023, and 2024 and has been named to the Colliers Everest Club (Top 10% of Colliers International) for the past 4 years. His work ethic, teamwork, communication, and commitment to customer service allow him to provide exceptional service and deliver the best possible outcomes for his clients. Ricky continues to reside in Virginia Beach with his wife, two daughters, and two Labrador retrievers.
