Rick Callahan

Rick Callahan, a Dallas native, is a Texas licensed real estate broker and is owner of Callahan Properties Commercial Real Estate Services (Realtors). He has held a Real Estate License since March 1979. He has worked with ERA Sage Realty, First Mark Ralph Miller Realtors, George Herriage Realtors and Alpha-Omega Properties, and currently operates his own office at 8344 E. R.L. Thornton Frwy. Suite 308 in Dallas, Texas. The company is involved in commercial, industrial and office sales and leasing, tenant representation, land sales, as well as full property management services. Mr. Callahan, started Callahan Properties in March of 1985. Mr. Callahan was raised in Mesquite and attended Mesquite schools, graduating from North Mesquite High School in 1974. He received degrees from Eastfield College in 1976, graduating Phi Theta Kappa; the University of Texas at Dallas in 1978, receiving a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science while being selected to Who's Who among students in American Universities and Colleges. Mr. Callahan received his Master of Business Administration Degree (M.B.A.) from Amber University ( now known as Amberton University in Garland in 1986, graduating with Academic Distinction (4.0), as well as being again selected to Who's Who. Mr. Callahan maintains a busy civic schedule and has held membership or board positions in a number of local organizations- Southeast Emergency Food Center, Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees), Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce(Board of Directors, 1987- to present), where he served as chairman for 1994-95, and the Board of directors of the Dallas Convention & Visitor's Bureau (1995-98). Mr. Callahan is a former President of the Mesquite Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) (1980-81) (1982-83) and Clean Dallas Southeast (now known as Keep Dallas Beautiful). Additionally, Mr. Callahan is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), and is a charter member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). Mr. Callahan also holds a life membership in Junior Chamber International as a J.C.I. Senator #38931 in the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) World Organization. Mr. Callahan has appeared in the following Who's Who publications: Who's Who in the South and Southwest since 1990, Who's Who in Finance & Industry since 1989, Who's Who in Emerging Leaders in America, and Who's Who among Young American Professionals since 1990 and in 1996 a nominee to Outstanding Young Americans.
