Richard Karzen has worked with clients to maximize their portfolios for more than 30 years. He started his career by selling income-producing property for Hettig Investments in 1986. He then worked for RLS Investments, where he became their top producer. He also won a series of productivity awards before being recruited by Investment Property Consultants (IPC), a Brentwood-based brokerage comprised of high-producing agents from prestigious, established firms. After a lucrative period at IPC, the UCLA-alumnus earned his real estate broker’s license and launched L.A. Investments, a full-service firm representing buyers and sellers of apartment complexes in the Greater Los Angeles area. L.A. Investments also represented banks and financial institutions in the disposition of their distressed REO income property portfolios. Richard was also involved in partnership formations, consulting, investing in asset acquisitions, and land assemblages for major developers. Richard joined RE/MAX Olson Commercial in 2016 and currently facilitates transactions in the vibrant Southern California marketplace as a broker/associate, specializing in multi-residential properties, shopping centers, and single-tenant commercial properties in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties. Having experienced the income property trade as an investor, partner, property manager, and broker, Richard is fully equipped to tailor a strategy that meets the unique needs of his clients, from large companies to small businesses, new ownership groups to seasoned investors.
