Richard Hobson

Richard Hobson, a native of Goshen, Indiana, has joined the FM Stone Commercial Real Estate Team, effective January 1, 2008. A lifelong resident of the Maple City, Richard graduated from Goshen High School in 1975 and has been working as a sales professional in the Goshen Community his entire career. Richard worked for 16 years in the auto industry under Jeff Showalter at Showalter Buick as a sales manager and eventually taking on the additional duties of Used Car Manager and Inventory Control. He has that rare combination of a sales and management background that have served him well over the years as he has interacted with the community, local leaders and business owners. Over the years, Richard developed an interest in real estate and eventually attended Indiana University in 2000, where he received his Indiana Real Estate training and state licensing. He joined Schrock Homes, a quality, custom manufacturer of residential homes and for 8 years helped many home buyers though the cascade of decision making that comes along with residential home construction. Richard is very well known within the Goshen/Elkhart community and trusted by all who have had the opportunity to work with him. He loves to golf, attend his children's athletic events, be involved in the Parent Teachers Association and watch IU basketball.
