Formerly, Reed attained the qualifications as a First Vice President with CB Richard Ellis (CCRA), Ventura office, specializing in Commercial Real Estate Sales, leasing and Consulting Services. Reed has been involved from the pre-development planning to leased-up of over 5 million square feet of retail projects in the Tri-County region over the last 28 years. He has played an integral role with major local shopping centers including; the Marketplace at Plaza Del Norte, Shopping at the Rose, Camarillo Town Center, Can1arillo Premium Outlets, Westlake North and the redevelopment sale of the Esplanade Mall. With respect to investment properties, Reed has been the selling broker for properties from Minnesota to Hawaii as well as brokering local Ventura County properties.. Since 2005 Reed has been involved with the sale of over $100 Million in assets. During the early to mid1990's Reed was the top selling broker of commercial assets for the RTC and FDIC in Ventura County with values ranging from $500,000 to 30 Million Dollars. Mr. Henkelman has extensive experience in investment and development transactions, and on both sides of landlord/tenant negotiations. Because of his expertise and impressive client base, he has played a major role in the ever changing retail environment of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
