Ray Alcorn

Ray has served the Company in various capacities since 1988. He attended Northwood University in Dallas TX and Midland MI. He has extensive experience in business and real estate development, including hotels, restaurants, single- and multi-family housing, shopping centers and office buildings. He is responsible for the overall direction of the Company, and the development and implementation of the Company's strategic plan. Ray is active in numerous industry trade organizations and local government. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Choice Hotels Owners Council (CHOC), the franchisee association of Choice Hotels International, where he served as a Regional Chairman and as an executive officer and Chairman of the Audit committee on the national board. He served on the Montgomery County Planning Commission for twelve years, and two terms on the board of directors of the Virginia Citizens Planning Association, a statewide community planning agency. He has completed state certification courses for planning commissioners and economic developers, and continually attends trade association and professional development seminars.
