Raquel joined Lloyd Companies in 2003, bringing her experience of working with the nation’s second largest shopping center management and development company, General Growth Properties (GGP). Since joining Lloyd Companies, she has worked with a myriad of retail clients, including Starbucks, Dry Bar, McDonald’s, Buff City Soap, Crumbl Cookie, Fleet Farm, Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bros. Bagels, ALDI, Ashley Furniture, Cost Plus World Market, Amazing Lash, Safe Splash Swim School, Verizon, Supercuts, Dollar Tree, and many more. She brought national retailer Duluth Trading Co. to downtown Sioux Falls, and she has worked on the sale of development land with Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, and Burlington Coat Factory. Today Raquel continues to work with local and national retail and office clients and specializes in leasing build-to-suit retail and office space. She also has extensive experience in land development including sites such as Dawley Farm Village, Springdale Development land, Thelin land, and Lalley land to name a few. She also specializes in investment sales, both acquisition and disposition, helping clients grow their investment portfolios through leveraging existing assets and acquiring land for development opportunities. Her experience working on projects of all types and sizes, as well as her relationships with countless local and national retailers, have established her as one of the region’s elite real estate professionals. From commercial real estate sales and leasing to retail management and marketing, construction, and development, Raquel has done it all.
