Rachelle Snyder

Rachelle serves as Chief Accounting Officer for Unico, overseeing the company’s accounting process, financial reporting, tax reporting, and department operations. Prior to her CAO role, Rachelle served as the Company’s head of tax after joining Unico in early 2020. Before Unico, Rachelle spent 12 years at another large North American commercial real estate investment manager, as the Senior Director of Tax where she focused on tax issues of the company and its clients, primarily its $11 billion open-ended core fund that operated via a Real Estate Investment Trust. Before working in private industry, Rachelle spent time in public accounting at Deloitte in Seattle. Rachelle is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Master of Professional Accounting – Taxation program and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the UW as well. She is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the AICPA and NAREIT. In addition to her day job, she is an affiliate instructor at the University of Washington’s Runstad Department of Real Estate in the College of Built Environments.
