Peter Newman, is the Founder & President of Newman Real Estate Services. With over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Peter has represented a who’s who of corporations and landlords. Peter’s extensive, elite list of clientele includes Mane USA, Onscent Fragrances, Oracle, Escada, Marc Jacobs International, ACA, LifePlan, Allendale Mutual Insurance Company, QSAC, Alex Apparel Group, AFLAC, Sara Lee Corporation, Champion Products, 20 Gates Management, Central Entertainment Group, and Waterkeeper Alliance, to name a few. Mr. Newman is a market opportunist and has restructured several existing leases in complex negotiations to the benefit of his clients. Mr. Newman began his career at Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc, (now CBRE) where he was involved in transactions valued at over $1 Billion. At Newmark Real Estate Services, Mr. Newman had noteworthy office, industrial and retail assignments with an estimated value in excess of $1 Billion. At Handler Real Estate Services, Peter was the highest-producing broker who built and trained the brokerage team and was responsible for bringing 263 West 38th St. to 100% occupancy, nearly doubling its rent roll. Mr. Newman is a graduate of Syracuse University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. Additionally, he is a syndicate member of the Americas Cup 12 Meter sail racing program with the NY Harbor Sailing Foundation. He was a competitive mogul skier and remains an active skier and road cyclist.
