Peter Bertone
I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. I've been in the financial services industry over 25 years, dating back to 1992. I graduated from Le Moyne College and started working in the industry at that time. My parents immigrated to America in 1965 from Sicily, Italy. My father was a tailor and successful business owner in the North Syracuse community for over 50 years. My mother worked in a factory for 30 years as a bookbinder doing piecework. I'm first generation American. I speak Italian and am very proud of my heritage. My parents worked hard and made sacrifices to provide a college education. More importantly, they instilled values of work ethic and integrity. I care about my clients' goals and dreams. I appreciate the opportunity and responsibility to serve them in an ethical and professional manner every day. I believe everyone should be able to afford a dignified retirement. My wife, Rebecca, and I have three sons. True to my Italian heritage, their names are Anthony, Santino and Carmelo. Our family enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures, values and destinations.
