Patrick Steffens is a Director in Avison Young’s New York office. Patrick focuses on the representation of corporations and landlords in their office leasing requirements, including site selection, financial modeling and lease negotiations. A Brooklyn native, Patrick uses his deep seated, local knowledge of New York City to uncover opportunities in the marketplace. His successful tenant and landlord advocacy practice is owed in part to his holistic and consultative approach in helping clients develop and execute their short and long-term occupancy strategies. Since joining Avison Young in 2015, Patrick has successfully completed transactions in all five New York City boroughs. Patrick’s most significant recent deals include working on the team that arranged a 23,000 RSF lease for the Hellenic Classical Charter School’s newly founded school on Staten Island, and a 26,580 RSF office sublease at One State Street Plaza for WIN Inc., a local non-profit dedicated to helping women and children. He was recently named to the agency leasing team for Vornado and Edward Minskoff’s 825 Seventh Avenue office building, where he co-leads a dedicated canvassing and outreach approach. He previously served on the agency leasing team for Thor Equities’ office portfolio in New York City, where he successfully leased over 100,000 RSF. Patrick also represented The Korea Society in relocating their headquarters to an exclusive Madison Avenue penthouse.
