Parag Sawhney is the founder and Managing Partner of Penn South Capital where he is responsible for identifying, negotiating and structuring Real Estate acquisitions & JV’s for the group. In addition, he oversees the development team as well. Now with an outstanding track record of consistently exceeding investor returns across over a dozen real estate transactions, Parag continues to develop and renovate buildings in New York City. Prior to his current undertaking, Parag was an investment banking analyst with Citigroup where he advised Consumer and TMT companies on M&A and capital market transactions. Notable deals include Altria’s acquisition of UST for $11.7bn where he was the sole analyst. he has also had short stints at UBS’ Wealth Management Group and Deutsched Bank’s Securitized Products Group in New York. He is a graduate of the Stern School of Business at New York University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.
