Norman Walters earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Newberry College and has over 30 years of experience in professional commercial real estate in the South East. He is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors and a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and South Carolina. Norman fiercely believes in community outreach and service. He has served on the North Carolina Department of Commerce Task Force for the Charlotte Chamber, and most recently, served as Chairman of the Board of Managers for Camp Harrison at Herring Ridge, a YMCA summer camp. Norman is also an Elder at Myers Park Presbyterian Church. He has served on the board of the Carolinas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and as its President. He has also held the position of Chairman of Mecklenburg Community Corrections, Inc., Chairman of the Board of Managers of the James J. Harris Family YMCA, Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, President of the Hornets Nest, Kiwanis Club and as Charlotte Chapter Trustee of Speedway Children's Charities.
