ABOUT

Graduate of the University of Cincinnati's nationally recognized Commercial Real Estate program, with a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Real Estate and Marketing. My commercial real estate career began in the real estate department at Federated Department Stores (Macy's) in 1992. In 1996, I joined one of the nation’s most successful mixed use and lifestyle developers, Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate as a development associate and leasing agent responsible for leasing the new property developments and then proceeding to create and head the brokerage department providing tenant site selection for national retailers including but not limited to tenants such as Staples, Quizno’s, Big Sky Bread Company, Great Clips, and Starbucks. In 2002, with shopping center ownership in mind, I joined another Cincinnati development company - Bear Creek Capital as an owner and their Vice President of Leasing. At BCC, I was responsible for anchor leasing for new development projects, working with tenants such as Kohl's, Target, Kroger, Lowe's & Meijer. I also managed the leasing & marketing departments. I procured Cincinnati its first and only Crate & Barrel and Container Store to anchor an iconic mixed-use project in Cincinnati's #1 retail market. In 2010, I joined Midland Atlantic Development Company as the Director of Leasing. I achieved 98% occupancy on the 650,000 square foot Rushmore Crossing Shopping Center in Rapid City, SD; 100% occupancy on the 450,000 sf Voice of America Shopping Center in West Chester, Ohio; 100% occupancy on the 77,000 square foot Kenwood Place Shopping Center in Kenwood, Ohio; and 98% occupancy on the 420,000 square foot E. Viking Plaza shopping center in Cedar Falls, IA. At Midland, I also provide third party development services including site analysis, preparing budgets and feasibility analysis, managing the pre-development and due diligence process, coordinating entitlements and governmental approvals, integrating with the project team on A/E, contract negotiation, pay requests and financial performance and monitoring the construction through project completion. In 2020, I joined Corporex Development as the Director of Development for CirclePort - a 650-acre development located 13 miles south of the Cincinnati Central Business District and one exit from the CVG international airport in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. My role at Corporex was to provide company growth developing the remaining 250 acres at CirclePort in a mixed-use orientation by adding a combination of differing types of residential, commercial, public, or civic, and/or industrial uses within the development. In 2024, I rejoined Macy's as the Director of Real Estate executing the strategic real estate plan for Macy's portfolio of assets in the Eastern United States. As an owner in many shopping center developments in Ohio and with over 30 years of experience, I am well versed in all aspects of commercial real estate including land acquisition, property management, development, construction and tenant representation.
