Murray Ancell

Murray T. Ancell, MS, CFRE, is senior vice president and chief development officer for RUSH University Medical Center. As the first new chief development officer at RUSH in over 20 years, Ancell brings significant experience cultivating philanthropic relationships and leading major non-profit fundraising efforts. Ancell joined RUSH from NorthShore University HealthSystem, where he served as senior vice president and executive director at NorthShore Foundation. Following a successful career in the private sector in Europe and the U.S., Ancell joined NorthShore in 2007, first as a senior director in hospital operations, before transferring to philanthropy. He led NorthShore Foundation for 12 years before coming to RUSH.
