Mitesh Kalthia
Kalthia Group Hotels was founded by Mitesh “Mike” Kalthia, President. He was born in India in 1971 and moved to the United States to begin college at Cypress College in California in 1988. He obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration and continued his education by obtaining his California Real Estate Broker’s License. In 1993, Mike Kalthia purchased his first hotel. Mr. Kalthia takes an active role in operating Kalthia Group Hotels and is responsible for evaluating the market feasibility and financial performance of a proposed hotel project. Mr. Kalthia’s experience and education give him knowledge regarding site selection, brand identification, contract negotiation, hotel operation, and debt/equity financing that provides the ability to effectively manage a project from concept to completion. He is widely recognized for his ability to asset-manage hotels.
