Mitch was born in Livingston, New Jersey, but lived in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, until he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1993. He earned his MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale in 1999. Mitch has resided in central Florida for 20 years and has spent a total of 35 years in the state. He has been married to Jennifer for 27 years and has a daughter who graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and is now a librarian in Daytona.
