Mitch Clawson is a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield. Since joining the firm in 2009, he has successfully negotiated over 7 million SF of complex lease and acquisition transactions for a diverse range of clients, ranging from local startup ventures to Fortune 500 companies. Mitch specializes in occupier representation, advocating vigorously on behalf of his clients with respect to their comprehensive commercial real estate and facility requirements. Mitch’s professional scope involves the following real estate facets: location & site selection, transaction negotiation, transaction management, lease administration, financial modeling, labor analytics, real estate benchmarking and workplace design. Mitch is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group, Legal Sector Advisory Group and Life Sciences Practice Group. Mitch is deeply embedded in the San Diego business ecosystem participating in several notable organizations, including innovation accelerator, CONNECT, where he is currently a board member. Mitch graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the reputable WP Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. Mitch lives in Carlsbad with his wife Jackie and their two (2) children, Ivy and Ford.
