Mike Mixer

Mike Mixer is a visionary leader and pioneer who has shaped the Las Vegas commercial real estate landscape. As co-founder and former Executive Managing Director of Colliers International Las Vegas, and now Chairman, he has been instrumental in driving the development, acquisition, and redevelopment of landmark resort, gaming, and hospitality properties along the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding areas. Mike’s leadership and expertise have positioned Colliers Las Vegas as the region’s leading full-service commercial real estate firm. A seasoned businessman and market maker, Mike has executed billions of dollars in transactions, guiding global investors, developers, and operators through complex deals. His deep understanding of development cycles, business operations, and ownership execution stems from not only advising others but also owning and operating his own successful ventures. This hands-on experience provides him with a rare 360-degree perspective on how to create, grow, and sustain real estate-driven businesses. Career Overview Mike began his career in the resort and gaming industry in 1987 as a casino marketing specialist for Steve Wynn at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. He transitioned to commercial real estate in 1988, joinging a firm responsible for numerous office, retail, and resort projects across Southern Nevada and California. In 1993, he co-founded Stuart Mixer Commercial, which later became Colliers International Las Vegas. Mike currently leads the firm’s Resort & Gaming and Hotel Services Group, focusing on existing hotels, resort hotel projects, gaming properties, mixed-use developments, and redevelopment sites in and around the Las Vegas resort corridors and University District. He has represented notable clients including MGM MIRAGE, Wynn Resorts, The Related Companies, American Nevada Corporation, and Morgans Hotel Group. Leadership & Service Mike has served as Chairman of the Colliers USA Board, a member of the International Governance Committee (IGC), and past Chairman of the Colliers USA Board of Advisors. He was a founding director of the Bank of Las Vegas and continues to provide strategic guidance and stability for the firm and its brokers. Philanthropy & Education A proud philanthropist, Mike co-founded the Links for Life Foundation, which has raised millions to support children in need across Southern Nevada. He holds degrees in Finance and Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
