Mike joined HMA in 2019 and focuses on leading Harbert's investment sales efforts. Mike has a background on both the principal and brokerage side of the business, having been involved in over $1.5 billion in commercial real estate transactions. Before Rock, Mike was with Capstone Collegiate Communities, a nationally renowned developer of student housing. Before Capstone, Mike was with Lennar Multifamily Communities, one of the largest multifamily developers in the country. Mike has also worked at Walker & Dunlop in their mortgage banking business. He graduated from Washington & Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and from the University of North Carolina with a Master in Business Administration. Mike, a native of Birmingham, and his wife Laura have three kids, James, Caroline and Charlie.
