Michele Gary

Michele has negotiated over 1,000 leases in her career - representing both landlords and tenants. She harnesses a powerful combination of market insight, negotiation skills and work ethic, that make her an invaluable ally to her clients. Michele is well known for her tenant representation of Austin’s best local restaurants and retailers, which include James Beard nominees and restaurants such as Barley Swine, Odd Duck, Sour Duck, Suerte, Lucy’s Fried Chicken, The Steeping Room and Viva Day Spa, to name a few. She also represents a select clientele of national tenants including Starbucks, Salt & Straw, Phenix Salon Suites and Gen Korean BBQ. Since the inception of her career, the Austin Business Journal continually lauds Michele as Commercial Real Estate "Heavy Hitter", a highly regarded ranking of top brokers in Austin. She has also received CoStar’s Power Broker award in the retail leasing category every year since 2006. In 2017, Michele was a top finalist in the ‘Austin Under 40 Awards’, a prestigious recognition honoring Austinites for leadership in their respective industries and strong commitments to serving the Austin community. Prior to joining CLD, Michele was a Vice President at Endeavor Real Estate Group for 8+ years. From 2007-2014, she was the Senior Vice President at The Weitzman Group, where she consistently ranked as the company’s top producer in Central Texas and repeatedly ranked as one of the top ten producers in the state. When not helping clients, Michele cherishes family time with her two sons - whether on the home fronts, exploring Austin, or traveling abroad.
