ABOUT

Michael White joined Savills in August 2015 and has been representing corporate clients in the commercial real estate space for over 34 years. As a proven leader of the industry, Michael has advised a variety of companies with over 35 million square feet of commercial lease transactions and build-to-suits with a total aggregate value exceeding $4 billion. He has also coordinated and closed sales of commercial office buildings and medical buildings, as well as land for such uses, with sales in excess of $600 million. As a senior managing director at Savills Phoenix Office, Michael is focused on providing tenant representation services on a regional, national and international level, coupling his expertise with the firm’s global platform and tenacious client advocacy. He has provided real estate solutions for headquarters assignments with First Solar, Allied Waste Industries, PF Chang’s, Republic Services, ACSS (an L3 Technologies company) and ING Direct Bank. Additionally, he has overseen the transactions of regional operation centers for CVS Drugs and MFS, as well as projects for CareerBuilder, Department of Public Safety, PricewaterhouseCoopers and General Mills. Prior to joining Savills, Michael gathered expertise in the Phoenix office market through his work as a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, senior vice president at Grubb & Ellis, senior managing director at Insignia/ESG and senior director at The Koll Company. Awards, Achievements and Activities Michael is an avid member of his religious community and a devoted volunteer to a nonprofit association called Young Life, which aims to introduce and inspire faith among adolescents. Michael has also been widely recognized as a commercial real estate professional. At the Arizona Commercial Real Estate Magazine’s 2014 RED Awards, he received the ‘Industrial Brokerage Sale of the Year’ award for brokering the disposition of the 1.5M SF First Solar manufacturing plant to Apple’s glass manufacturer. He has received accolades from national publications, including Site Selection Magazine, Business Facilities Magazine and Commercial Property Executive. Michael has been an office leader, mentor and top performer at each of his former employers.
