Michael Stone is an Executive Vice President in Colliers International’s New York Retail group. He focuses on tenant and owner representation in Manhattan, the outer boroughs and the Tri-State suburban markets, though he has completed strategic assignments in locations across the country. He joined Colliers in 2017 as a critical asset in the firm’s expansion of its regional retail platform. Mr. Stone joined Colliers after nearly 12 years in Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Services Group. Before Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Stone was a vice president in Insignia/ESG/CBRE’s Retail Group and an associate director at Robert K. Futterman & Associates. Mr. Stone earned a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University and a J.D. from Touro College’s Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Board of New York. Mr. Stone has been admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York and New Jersey, as well as the Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
