Michael joined the Charlotte office of Collett in 1993. He began his real estate career from the ground up, initially specializing in Leasing and Property Management for the firm. In 1998 he became a Partner, specializing in Regional Power Center Development. Over the past 21 years Michael has been a Partner in the development of approximately 7,000,000 s.f. in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. Developments include national and regional tenants such as Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Kohl’s, Best Buy, Belk, Bed Bath & Beyond, Harris Teeter and Nebraska Furniture Mart , among many others. Michael has served as the lead developer on numerous projects and is responsible for all facets of the business including, sourcing deals, financing, land acquisition, major tenant leasing and construction. Michael has 26 years of experience in the real estate industry.
