With over 12 years of industry experience, he’s successfully facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions for self storage owners, operators and investors. Michael has built an expansive network of long-term business relationships with owners, operators, private investors, developers, private REITs, private equity, high-net-worth family offices, and U.S.-based publicly traded REITs. What sets Michael apart is his dual perspective as both a top-tier broker and an active developer. He currently owns and operates eight facilities—four of which he built from the ground up. This firsthand expertise in the development and lease-up cycle allows him to offer clients rare, owner-centric insights that drive superior financial outcomes. A native of South Carolina and a graduate of the University of South Carolina (B.A. in Economics), Michael is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and a proud member of the South Carolina and Georgia Self Storage Association's.
