Michael Huet
Dr. Michael Huet attended Penn State University where he participated in the Honors Program and won early acceptance to optometry school. He graduated in 1999 with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University in Philadelphia where he excelled academically and clinically. His training included clinical internships at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia and the Laurel Eye Clinic where he trained in ocular disease management, post-surgical management, glaucoma therapies, and dry eye treatments. Rotations at Salus University’s pediatric vision therapy and contact lens specialty departments completed his formal training. Dr. Huet is an active member of both the Pennsylvania Optometric Society and the American Optometric Society, reflecting his commitment to the optometric profession. Outside of his work, he enjoys quality time with his wife, Janice, and their four children. His hobbies include basketball, golfing, working out, and tackling home renovation projects. Additionally, he volunteers his time and expertise with the Mission of Mercy, supporting those in need. Dr. Huet’s dedication to his field, family, and community highlights his well-rounded and compassionate approach to life. Dr. Huet’s dedication to eye care began with the establishment of his first private practice in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, in 2001. Building on his success, he expanded with a second location in McCandless Township in 2011, followed by a third office in Cranberry Township in 2013. Committed to excellence, Dr. Huet actively pursues continuing education to stay abreast of advancements in diagnostic and treatment technologies. He is equally passionate about staying informed on the latest trends in eyeglass and contact lens products, ensuring he offers the best options to his patients.
