Mr. Dodds was one of the sixteen founding partners of Integra Realty Resources in 1999. He has been a real estate broker since 1990 and an appraiser since 1984. His appraisal experience includes five years with an appraisal firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Dodds has a broad range of experience in valuation and analysis of all types of real estate including resort oriented, commercial, industrial, office, multi-family, mixed-use, and special-purpose properties. He has developed a particular expertise in the valuation of investment grade real property. He has also been engaged to conduct marketability, feasibility, and various investment consultation assignments. Mr. Dodds graduated from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute, Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas (MBAC), Greater Columbia Association of Realtors, South Carolina Bankers Association and the Urban Land Institute. He has also served as a board member of the South Carolina Center for Real Estate at the University of South Carolina. Mr. Dodds is currently certified by the Appraisal Institute''''s voluntary program of continuing education for its designated members, and served as the 2002 President of the South Carolina Chapter. Michael was appointed by Governor Nikki Haley to the South Carolina Real Estate Appraisers Board. The Senate confirmed the appointment on February 22, 2012. The term of the initial appointment began immediately, with an immediate reappointment commencing May 31, 2012. Mr. Dodds received the MAI designation in 1991, and the CCIM designation in 1994. In 2008, he was elected to Professional Membership in the London-based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). While Mr. Dodds has prepared appraisals or market studies on properties in 27 states, he maintains a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser licenses in the states of South Carolina and Georgia.
