In 2005 Michael Butz joined four others decided to purchase the building, and in 2021 Michael and his brother became the sole owners of Offices on MacKenzie. 2022 was the year that Michael outright bought the building and became the sole owner. He has since begun renovating the building along with updating its technology and increasing security.
