Michael Blount
Developer, broker, contractor, manager
Prior to forming Wilson | Blount Development, Michael served as President of Keystone Corporation, an international real estate development firm headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina which has developed over 7 million square feet of commercial, residential, and industrial space over its 42 year history. Michael has over 20 years of experience in project management and development of commercial and residential real estate. He has managed the development and construction of a variety of project types, including Class A office, flex, industrial, lab, R&D, residential subdivisions, and single-family homes. Michael obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 2005 and his Masters in Business Administration in 2015 from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Michael is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and a licensed general contractor. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA), and the Raleigh-Durham chapter of NAIOP, where he serves on the Board of Directors as its President. He serves as a mentor at the Wood Center for Real Estate Studies at UNC and as a member of the Advisory Council for Passage Home of Raleigh.
