Melissa Freas

As Senior Vice President of Leasing, West Region, Melissa Freas negotiates leases with a large array of tenants, including brands with local, national, international or digital presence. Ms. Freas joined Macerich in 2001 and leads the team responsible for leasing, merchandising and analyzing redevelopment opportunities in major markets in California, Colorado and Oregon. She is an integral part of solidifying Macerich regional town centers for ongoing success by bringing in concepts that speak to the unique customer in each market. Ms. Freas earned an MBA from St. Mary’s College of California and a B.A. in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising from the University of Hawai’i.
