Maxx Bauman serves as the Market Leader of the El Segundo office for Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™. Maxx has been with Matthews™ since its inception in 2015. In conjunction with executive leadership, Maxx helps develop, train, and recruit agents as the company continues to grow. At the same time, Maxx works on expanding the footprint and reach of Matthews™ into new markets, aiding with the design and implementation of aggressive growth strategies. Maxx began his real estate career in the single-tenant net-leased practice group at Matthews™, with expertise in the drug store tenant vertical. Specializing in the disposition and acquisition of single-tenant net-leased properties and drug stores nationwide, Maxx has transacted over $200M in commercial real estate in the last five years. Maxx emphasized a client-first approach, successfully crafting valuable relationships with private clients, developers, private equity funds, family offices, and public and private REITs, many of which were among the industry’s largest and most active. His success can be attributed to the deep-seated understanding and knowledge of the real estate industry, creative problem solving, and an unrelenting work ethic.
