Max Holstein
Max is a former Senior Vice President with Bank of America (formerly C&S National Bank / NationsBank) where he worked for over 20 years in the Trust Department & Private Bank. He managed the Real Estate Division of the Trust Department for Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky and was a Real Estate Investment Advisor for the Private Bank where he worked with high net worth clients in assisting them with real estate investments and dispositions. Max retired from Bank of America in January 2001. Max has been a real estate broker for three years and obtained the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors in 1992. Max Holstein & Lynn Mitchell, Managing Broker of Mitchell Realty Group, are the only two real estate professionals in the North East Georgia Board of Realtors area that hold the CCIM designation. Max and his wife Sheryl have been full time residents of Gilmer County since 2000 and have owned property here since 1995. Max and Sheryl have four grown children and two grandchildren. In addition to other interests, Max can be found frequently at the Whitepath Golf Course with the Men’s Association or riding his motorcycle with fellow members of the High Country Cruisers.
