Matthew Strother

Matthew Strother is an Industrial real estate broker specializing in the sale and leasing of Industrial properties across Tennessee. As co-founder of the Industrial Advisory Group alongside Taylor Durand, Matthew leads a team that has transacted over $135,000,000 in Industrial deal volume since 2023, earning recognition as one of the region's most active industrial brokerage teams. Matthew joined Lee & Associates in 2026 after nearly five years at SVN | Wood Properties, where he was consistently ranked among the top 50 Advisors within SVN and received numerous awards. He is also a Member Associate of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors organization. Beyond transactional work, Matthew is known for walking clients through the underwriting process on investment sales and is passionate about helping people build long-term wealth through real estate. Born and raised in Brea, CA, Matthew relocated to Knoxville, TN in January 2021 and began his real estate career just months later, joining SVN | Wood Properties that August. He played baseball early at UC Santa Barbara, and credits that experience with instilling the discipline and work ethic he brings to building his business today.
