Matthew Peters is First Vice President of Investments and team leader of The Peters Team, specializing in the sale of mixed-use, multifamily, development & industrial properties in Central and Eastern Brooklyn. Matthew has successfully evaluated over 800 book of values, over $5 Billion in investment properties & portfolios and closed over $140 Million in Sales. In addition, Matthew has achieved multiple price records. On a day-to-day, Matt is evaluating single assets & portfolios, advising property owners, and executing sales transactions on an exclusive basis. Matt has the experience, knowledge and track record to accurately analyze and underwrite even the most complex properties, as well as providing clients with the right tools for improving their property’s overall performance. With almost 10 years experience, Matt focuses on building long-term relationships and putting client's goals and needs above all else. Matt provides a premium service that allows owners to understand and trust the process, in addition to cultivating relationships and utilizing market knowledge to provide all his clients with a consummate view into the investment sales market. Over the years, Matthew has been able to gain access to the industry's largest network of buyers & sellers of commercial real estate not only in NYC, but Nationwide. Previous to joining Marcus & Millichap, Matt graduated from Virginia Tech, where he was on scholarship and a member of the Varsity Wrestling Team, while also holding a New York State Championship title.
