He began his career in commercial real estate in 2005 with Long & Foster’s Commercial Division. He then spent over a decade in New York City as a Director of Investment Sales for Besen & Associates where he directly sourced and closed over $250M worth of investment sales before moving back to D.C. in 2019. Matthew has almost 20 years of commercial real estate experience transacting across all asset classes from multifamily, retail and industrial investments to strategic and complex development assemblages.
