Matthew Fogel

Matt Fogel is a Vice President at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, where he leads the newly launched Retail Leasing Division in the firm’s New York office. He specializes in landlord and tenant representation, bringing deep expertise in retail leasing across the New York metro and other major U.S. markets. Prior to joining Matthews™, Matt served as a Director at KSR, where he leased over 170,000 square feet of retail space since 2019. His work spans markets including New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami. On the landlord side, Matt has represented prominent firms such as Tavros Capital, SW Management, Red Apple Group, LM Development, The Moinian Group, Klosed Properties, Phillips International, and KEW Management. A standout deal includes a 12,895 sq ft lease to Central Rock Climbing Gym at 537 West 27th Street in West Chelsea. On the tenant side, Matt has advised brands like Playa Bowls, Pura Vida, Boisson, Avocaderia, Unapologetic Foods, Toasties, Ralph’s Italian Ices, Pup Culture, The Hummus and Pita Company, and Alidoro. Notably, he secured a 7,000 sq ft lease for KCR Group at 216 Lafayette Street in SoHo, leasing the entire building for an event venue. Matt holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business Management from the University of South Carolina and is known for his strategic approach to retail expansion and market positioning.
