Matt Taylor brings over twenty years in commercial real estate experience and serves as a Senior Director at The Econic Company, specializing in Tenant and Landlord representation. His expertise lies in strategically aiding national and regional tenants in achieving successful rollouts, as well as managing project leasing across all retail asset classes in Northern California. Matt has successfully negotiated hundreds of regional, national, and global retail real estate transactions throughout his career. Matt brings a unique understanding of merchandising and tenant branding in combination with an in-depth understanding of institutional REITs and large-scale life-style centers. Before joining The Econic Company, Matt Taylor held the role of Global Real Estate Manager at Fisker Inc., where he led site selection and?real estate management and brand expansion on a global scale. Preceding his tenure at Fisker Inc., he served as a Senior Leasing Manager at Unibail Rodamco Westfield, where he directed the strategic merchandising and positioning of prestigious retail assets totaling over 5 million square feet throughout Northern California including the 1.3 million square foot life-style center at Roseville Galleria, 1.2 million square feet San Francisco Centre and 2.2 million square feet at Valley Fair in San Jose, CA.? At Unibail, as a result of Matt’s leadership within the leasing and merchandising efforts, the assets consistently delivered the highest sales per square foot in the overall Unibail portfolio. Matt also managed many national retail accounts within the URW portfolio including Levis, Oak + Fort, Peloton, Vans and Lego.
