Matt Bitter specializes in Industrial Advisory Services and brings a unique blend of experiences — site selection, tax consultancy, construction assessment, and industrial engineering — all which dovetail toward a highly relevant suite of skills for owners and occupiers of industrial space. Prior to joining Colliers, Matt was with McGuire Sponsel, a national specialty tax consulting firm, where he spent three tax seasons as a cost segregation engineer before transitioning to business development for their Location Advisory group. Before his work there, Matt spent time in the automotive industry. First, as a process engineer for a Tier 2 supplier in the stamping industry, then in the same capacity for the materials department at Subaru of Indiana Automotive. Matt is a graduate of Purdue University, earning a degree in Industrial Engineering. At Purdue, he was active in his favorite organizations – Kappa Sigma Fraternity, the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, and the John Purdue Club. He enjoys golfing, going to West Lafayette to root for the Purdue Boilermakers, and spending time with his wife and three children.
