Mr. Lichterman has extensive commercial development, investment, and brokerage real estate experience in Southern California spanning almost 40 years. He has been involved with all aspects of development, investment, exchanges, brokerage, entitlement, financing, project management and property management. He has formed joint ventures of every kind for every type of product including corporate headquarters facilities, industrial buildings, retail projects, multi-tenant properties, hotels, and in the past; an upscale residential condominium project in Laguna Beach where he lived. Mr. Lichterman began his long career as a commercial (industrial) broker, first with W.H. Daum & Staff in Newport Beach, then as a commercial (investment) broker with Western Pacific Commercial Real Estate which was owned by Beverly Hills Savings & Loan, then specialized in commercial joint ventures at Iliff, Thorn, owned his own boutique development company (Pacific Western Development Co.) and spent the last 13 years with commercial developer; Marinita Development Co in Newport Beach. He has been responsible, in part, for more than 5 million sq. ft. of leases, exchanges, sales and developments of various commercial and investment properties. He is a long time member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), is on the Board of ACRE (Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives) as Sponsorship Chairman, and is involved with CREW, NAIOP, and other real estate networking organizations. In addition to traditional development, Mr. Lichterman's focus today is: No-risk (to commercial land owners) Joint Ventures wherein they contribute no cash, have no loss of control over their property, take virtually no-risk, and in the beginning of any development process maintain title as it currently exists.
