Mark Wood was born and raised in North Richland Hills where he graduated from Richland High School in 1973. He later graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1977 with a BBA in Finance. While attending UTA, Mark began a career in banking with the Texas Commerce Bank organization. He served as Chairman and C.E.O. of TCB-Hurst from 1984 through 1987 before leaving to form his own consulting business. In 1988 he co-founded the commercial real estate brokerage firm of Howe/Wood & Company with his partner Mark Howe. Mark lives in Keller with his wife Lisa. He is active in his community where he served on the North Richland Hills Planning and Zoning Commission for eleven years and the city council for six years. He is also active in his church where he is on several committees including having been the Building Committee Chairman on several large projects. Mark is an active member of the Society of Commercial Realtors having previously served as its Chairman.
