Mark Ratchford
As the president of KDS Caine, Mark oversees the brokerage team, day-to-day operations, company culture, and staff.
In his role as Partner and Broker, Mark leverages 35+ years of real estate experience to provide clients with invaluable, in-depth analysis and solutions to intricate commercial projects as he focuses on property entitlement and development. Prior to becoming a commercial broker at KDS, Mark served for two decades as a commercial real estate appraiser with Valbridge Property Advisors, formerly The Robins Company, and has maintained his Membership with the Appraisal Institute (MAI). In both his professional and personal life, Mark is passionate about mentoring. He serves on the board of SEARCH Ministries and has lectured in Clemson University’s Masters in Real Estate Development program. Mark and his wife, Susan, have been married for over 35 years and have three adult daughters. In his free time, Mark is an avid reader, fly fisherman, and enjoys both road and mountain cycling.
