Mark A. Johnson Co-Founded RoseMark Commercial Advisors and RoseMark Capital Partners 2014. His background includes extensive experience in commercial real estate, retail management/finance, and small business ownership. Currently, Mark and his business partner Janet Rose are working closely with build-for-rent developers. They acquire land, take it through the entitlement process and either sell the permitted site or proceed to construction with their partners for build-for-rent investment firms. For the first several years in CRE, Mark focused on commercial brokerage until he was elevated to EVP/Sales Manager at Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2018. In February 2023, he and his partner Janet Rose went out on their own to focus on development and institutional real estate investments. They still specialize in Medical Office, Build-To-Rent, Multifamily and large residential development properties. While they have successfully completed transactions in all segments of CRE, their focus remains on large, complicated deals. Their combined expertise in investments, the 1031 exchange process, land aggregation/entitlement, leasing, etc. prepared them to serve sophisticated clients, provide data-based recommendations and together they achieve top results. Originally from the Washington, DC area, Mark relocated to Wilmington to pursue a career in commercial real estate brokerage. He has received multiple awards including Circle of Distinction, Broker of the Month among others. Mark’s background includes a degree from Indiana University (Kelley School of Business), VP positions with fortune 100 companies, and ownership of consulting and construction firms. He has served on several boards/volunteer organizations including the Wilmington Academy of Arts and Sciences (Chair), Wilmington Downtown Inc, Realtors Commercial Alliance (President), Habitat for Humanity (volunteer).
