
Mark Berins is Chief Administrative Officer for Flagship Capital Partners, where he is responsible for capital formation, investor relations, asset management, and corporate administrative matters. Prior to joining Flagship, Berins spent 15 years in commercial real estate management and development. Focused on retail, office, and mixed-use properties, Berins has extensive experience as an owner’s representative, having managed a family office’s private portfolio of commercial real estate where he oversaw all asset management functions. Prior to his real estate career, Berins worked in sales and project management and was on the leadership team of a not for profit organization. Berins was born and raised in New Orleans and is a 1999 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. In 2005, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, where he was a Pro Bono Award recipient for participation in numerous public service initiatives. Berins is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the State Bar of Texas and is on the Board of Directors of Camp Young Judaea-Texas, a non-profit youth summer camp, where he serves as Chair of the Facilities Committee.
