Marietta Urquhart
Marietta is a licensed realtor with more than 15 years of experience. She joined White-Spunner Realty in 2015.
Named Mobile’s First Lady in 2005, Marietta is a trustee of the University of Alabama where she serves as Chair of the Vision and Policy Committee, as well as Vice-Chair of the Physical Properties and Compensation Committees. She serves on the Advisory Boards of Oakworth Capital Bank and South Alabama and is on the executive committees of the UMS Wright Foundation, the Community Foundation of South Alabama and GulfQuest Maritime Museum. She is a graduate of Leadership Mobile and Leadership Alabama and has served this community in Leadership roles for over 35 years; among them she has served as Chairman of the Board of UMS-Wright Preparatory School and President of the Junior League of Mobile. Marietta, who grew up in Mobile, said she loves to share her knowledge of the area with newcomers: “I want to help them love it as much as I do. I’m really proud of our city.” She is married to Dr. William Johnson Urquhart. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. A member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Marietta enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and playing golf.nk, Mobile
