Marc Slayton

Marc received a degree in Business from Boston University in 1988. After 10 years in commercial real estate with firms such as Beitler Commercial in LA, Newmark & Company in New York and a NYC urban retail family office he founded Storage Post, now GoodFriend Storage, a Metro New York and South Florida focused development, acquisition and management self-storage platform. Over the past 25 years the company has developed, owned and operated over 70 storage properties totaling more than seven million square feet. Marc was one of the first to introduce multistory, climate control self-storage to the New York market and has accumulated a vast amount of industry knowledge along with an unmatched self-storage network.
