Marc Oursin
Marc Oursin serves as Chief Executive Officer of Shurgard Self-Storage, a position he has held since January 2012.In this role, he leads the company's pan-European self-storage operations, concurrently holding CEO responsibilities across Shurgard's subsidiary entities in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom, and serving as President of Shurgard France. He also serves as a Director of Shurgard Self Storage SA and several subsidiary boards.Prior to joining Shurgard, Oursin managed the turnaround of Sport 2000 in France from 2010 to 2011, in partnership with Private Equity firm Activa Capital. He previously held executive positions at Carrefour from 1995 to 2009 across France, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Belgium, and began his career at Promodès from 1987 to 1995 in France and Switzerland. During his international assignments, he served on the boards of French chambers of commerce abroad.
