Marc Gurstel

Marc brings over 25 years of retail and real estate expertise, specializing in site selection, lease negotiation, and portfolio management. He currently oversees nearly 1.9 million square feet of leasing space, guiding strategy, lease administration, and budgeting. Previously, Marc served as Director of Real Estate at AM Retail Group, managing over 150 Wilsons Leather outlets and leading more than 200 transactions that doubled store count. He also directed facilities operations for 300+ stores and played key roles in launching and expanding brands like Andrew Marc, Vince Camuto, Calvin Klein Performance, and G.H. Bass & Co. Marc’s earlier roles include managing 1 million square feet of commercial properties at Welsh Companies, where he handled operations, financials, and tenant relations across retail, office, and industrial assets. An attorney and licensed broker in Minnesota and Florida, Marc serves on the board of Developers of Outlet Centers & Retailers (DOC&R) and is a member of ICSC.
