Malik Simmons

After graduating from Harris-Stowe State University with a degree in Finance, Malik Simmons earned his real estate license and began his career at SmartEquity as an Associate. He has since completed the prestigious Urban Land Institute REDI program and completed a master’s program in Real Estate Development and Audit from Saint Louis University. Today, Mr. Simmons oversees asset portfolios valued at over $100 million across Missouri and Illinois, demonstrating his expertise in managing complex real estate investments. Since 2020, he has achieved $9.4 million in sales and successfully managed a portfolio of 203,717 square feet and 20.68 acres in Missouri . As the youngest partner at his firm, Mr. Simmons is actively pursuing his CCIM and CPM designations to further enhance his expertise in commercial real estate. In addition to his professional success, Mr. Simmons is dedicated to creating pathways for others to thrive in the real estate industry. He established an internship program in collaboration with local universities to help students gain entry into commercial real estate. He also partnered with Harris-Stowe State University and Royal Bank to develop a groundbreaking housing program that enables students to graduate with both a degree and homeownership through a $10,000 forgivable down payment and low-interest mortgage. Mr. Simmons is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (St. Louis Alumni Chapter), and the St. Louis Realtors Commercial Division.
