Louis A. Serrone, SIOR has been specializing in the leasing, sale and development of Industrial Properties since 1984. A verteran industrial broker, he brings with him 32 years of real estate experience. Lou has helped a significant number of local and national clients with build to suits, industrial land acquisitions, leasing space, and property acquisition. Lou is equally experienced in Landlord/Seller Representation and Tenant/Buyer representation. Lou was trained by the late Roger Cohen and worked for Roger Cohen at Cohen Esrey Real Estate Services for 16 years. Lou started as an Industrial agent, advanced to head the Industrial Group and eventually was named Sales manager for the Company a position he held until he founded SERRONE & CO. in January 2000. Lou developed several properties at Serrone & Co and then in 2006 spent 12 years off and on assisting Ken Block at Block Real Estate services in various capacities from Sale's Manager to Director of Development for specific projects. Lou’s Industrial real estate knowledge and experience has resulted in consistently being recognized as one of Kansas City’s elite Industrial Brokers. 2018 Lou created Ridge Real Estate to develop, market and create a multitude of investment and brokerage opportunities on the 250 acres owned by Mike Christie east of the new Ridgeview Road between K-10 and Prairie Star Parkway. Lou is an active member of the Society of Industrial Office Realtors (SIOR). The SIOR designation is earned by only the most experienced, skilled and respected Industrial and Office Realtors. SIOR’s provide essential brokerage services, including consulting, negotiating, appraising, and maximizing investment property portfolio performance. SIOR members must meet rigid professional and ethical standards as well as demonstrate proven marketing ability and knowledge of the principles involved in guidance and completion of real estate transactions. Professionally Lou has served on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Board of Realtors and is a lifetime Million Dollar Club member. Lou served for sixteen years as a city councilman in the City of Lenexa, Kansas. Lou served as Council President and served on many council committees. His experience as a city councilman gives Lou a special insight and the unique ability to help his clients understand and work within the governmental process. Lou helps his clients to understand how to work with the system to get things done in a more timely and efficient manner. Prior to his career as an Industrial Realtor Lou was a successful college and high school football coach. Lou received his Masters degree from Central Missouri State University in Warrrensburg, Mo. and his Bachelor’s degree from Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Mo.
